Update May 10, 2003

Well I'm still busy and somewhat out of commission.
Here's what's goin' on:

..We have started a 2-3 month house-remodeling project so things are in disarray.

..I have a hernia operation in June. : P

.. I have another Sleep Test in June.

I have other doctor, etc. appointments scheduled as well. I don't have time to attend to this site for a few months as a result.

Recovery from the surgery will take a few weeks.

I still have not gotten back my energy and cognitive functioning after about 6 months of CPAP treatment for apnea, so I'm having a sleep test to see where I'm at and will go from there to try and figure out what my problem is. I still am having apneas (stopping breathing) during sleep while on the CPAP even after increasing the air pressure, so I may need to start again to see what pressure works or maybe CPAP is just not going to work for me. It hasn't much so far. I am now doing worse after the pressure increase. I may have to resort to UPPP surgery. Double :-p. Or stimulants (Woo-hoo!).

I'll have my regular checkup with my PCP in June and I'll see if she can find out if there's anything else I have besides apnea that may be causing my trouble (Same ol' story: fatigue, sleepiness, inability to concentrate, fuzzy headedness, etc.).

Next update will be in August or so after the dust settles (literally).
