Legal Usage of Art and Restrictions

Program info: This CD is compatible with Windows 95 and Mac format. Each image is a .JPG file and can be downloaded onto your computer very easily. Instructions: 1. Insert CD into your CD ROM drive. 2. Use any word processor or graphics program that will import pictures or graphics files. 3. Once you have chosen an image from the CD Higher Clips you may import the picture onto your computer. 4. Once imported, the image may appear very large and you may not even see the picture right away. Zoom out as far as you can until you see the entire image. Then you may re-size the picture by just grabbing a corner of the image where you see a black square and dragging the image to the size you need. 5. Remember the images were scanned as large files to get the best possible quality. 6. For thumbnail views of directories see directory labeled cdthumbs. Licensing: What am I licensed to do with the images once I have bought the CD? All our images are royalty-free for nearly all creative work. Registered end-users are licensed to use purchased images royalty-free in advertising, marketing, communication, presentations, multimedia projects and bulletins. Examples include: advertising, brochures, newsletters, letters, books and book covers, reports, multimedia presentations, school projects, church work and lectures. One of the few things you are not allowed to do is to resell the images as stock-images, or to use them for calendars and postcards, or to reproduce images onto CD ROM.
