"THINGS THAT FLOAT"

creations by David Bosworth and friends

To the left are the two 26/14N lift fans these work well on 5hp briggs engines. The varnished one is currently on the T4, the blue one you can see up close on the      PROP REPAIR PAGE!

I included the picture above because it shows off the constant twist in the propeller blade well.

The propeller page!

This page will show pictures of propellers and fans that I have carved to support my hovercafting habit. I do not cut and sell props at this time but the money I save carving these babies allows me to spend more in other places.

Above are two 42/14 thrust props for 10hp engines. I run these thrust props on my UH-12T4 hovercraft, really nice to have a spare or two on hand!

This would be the first prop I ever finished!, it is a 36/16N, (practice prop) I originally cut this one for 5hp but it really cooks on the 8hp briggs!.

Above is the 26/18 I carved for the "Lil" hovercraft. The pic Bellow shows the airfoil shape of the blade.

The first prop in the above picture is a 36/18 suitable for a 10hp engine, directly behind that are the new 42/14 thrust prop and a 26/14N lift fan for the T4. These props are finished with spar varnish and stainless edge tape.

More to come of course!
