Right: I have started to work on a new gaurd and try and figure out how and where to mount the tank. I picked up some throttle cable stuff today so I should get that end of things done in the next few days and fire it up.
Well I yanked the old engine out, reworked the engine mount and wired the ignition into the dash console. I chose to put the starter solinoid inside the port inspection hatch in the nose. I need to do some epoxy and paint work before I can finish the install
Left: Here is just a shot of the project area, you can see the clamps where I am laminating a support on the wood part of the engine mount. Also notice the raised section of the dash has been removed. I had planned to use this area for gauges but it ended up not being needed because of the console. Excess weight is gone!
Above: This is the top lift splitter, it will need to be redone at a different angle for the new fan too
